Increased Productivity In The Area Of External Logistics And Delivery Services Of The Urban Employment Express Through The Methodology Lean Manufacturing

This paper has as objective to use the methodology 'Lean Manufacturing', to increase the productivity in the area of External Logistics and Delivery Services of the company Urbano Express, it was considered for the analysis to two fundamental processes of the area: ('Clearing Banking' that it contemplates the banks, insurers and internal messaging of financial entities and the 'Domicile Service' that contemplates the food and medicine companies). With the lifting of the variables and the main factors that intervene in the processes, several tools were analyzed to generate an increase in productivity in the processes to be worked, in order to obtain an improvement in the profitability of the company and the area of research, the '5S' was implemented with the help of standardization and optimization in time and workload of the staff. We worked hand in hand with those responsible for each process and as a counterpart to the clients that intervene in this process, work areas were modified, the optimal time of each activity was determined with the use of a stopwatch, based on the obtained documentation generated the flow charts and diagrams of each process were carried out.

The new technological applications and the advancement of communication have allowed the generation of new applications for sending and receiving data, using low power and reduced costs, thus achieving the implementation of the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). These networks allow the generation of measurements and analysis of data of short, medium and high scale, for which they have been taken in this investigation, obtaining a communication and sending of information, based on the following levels that are: Beginning of data transmission, process of the sending and receiving of the information received by the Gateway, storage of information and visualization and generation of information reports. In the transmission of data from nodes one and two to the Gateway, it was analyzed that the energy consumption in each sensor is approximately 74.4% (node 1) and 86.8% (node 2) on a bi-monthly basis. that the sensor one needs to be charged 5 times a year, while node 2 needs to be charged 4 times

Agility resembles the idea of speed and change through business environment. Agility focus on responding to dynamic and turbulent markets and customer’s demands. It is while the implications of agile competition dependent upon competitive contexts which are particularly active within an organization. The present study is an attempt to find out which factors are more influential on attaining agility with regard to human resources. The sample for this study includes the staff working in Yazd Electricity Distribution Company. Random sampling method was used in this study and the data were gathered through the use of a questionnaire (after examining its reliability and validity as an instrument of data collection). Furthermore, in order to investigate this issue, the fuzzy approach was used as one of the beneficial instruments for measuring those problems with vague indices. Structural Equation Modeling was also applied to experiment research hypotheses. The results of this study show that in order to face such changes, agility based on human resources’ knowledge, human resources’ skills, the existence of cooperative culture in the organization, and access to information is necessary. Besides, regarding the importance of agility of human resources for organizations, it is suggested to investigate other influential factors on agility in future research to contribute to the further development of the model presented within this research.

Un elemento de gran importancia para las instituciones educativas universitarias, educadores y estudiantes lo constituye el rendimiento académico de los mismos en el tránsito de su formación profesional. La minería de datos educativos desarrolla modelos y métodos para explorar los datos recopilados de los entornos de aprendizajes educativos mediante analíticas de aprendizajes con el n de detectar patrones que permitan predecir variables de interés. La presente investigación describe un modelo predicativo de rendimiento académico usando técnicas de redes neuronales sobre un conjunto de datos reales de 300 estudiantes de la carrera de Sistemas de la Universidad Central del Ecuador. Este registro fue suministrado por el entorno virtual de aprendizaje https://uvirtual.uce.edu.ec/ desarrollado en Moodle y usado en dicha Universidad.
