De hecho, puede verse como la materia prima de lo que producen estas tecnolog\u00edas de decisi\u00f3n populares: informaci\u00f3n, ideas y conocimiento. Sin datos, ninguna de estas tecnolog\u00edas podr\u00eda existir y popularizarse, aunque, tradicionalmente, hemos construido modelos anal\u00edticos utilizando el conocimiento experto y la experiencia junto con muy poca o ninguna informaci\u00f3n; sin embargo, esos eran los viejos tiempos, y ahora los datos son esenciales.
